Hospice/Euthanasia

One of the hardest moments that come with the joy of having a pet is when it is time to say goodbye to them. Regardless of how well we care for our furry family members, their time with us is limited. When your pet is nearing the end of their lives, bring them to the caring doctors and staff at Bel Air Animal Hospital for end-of-life care.

If your pet is nearing the end of their lifespan, but can still have a quality of life for a time, hospice care is available at Bel Air Animal Hospital. Animals under the hospice care of Dr. Angela and Dr. John Bentley have their vital signs monitored, including heartrate, blood pressure, and oxygen levels; bloodwork is run as needed and pain medication is administered as necessary. Our compassionate doctors will continue these measures as long as your pet can be humanely sustained.

Once the time comes to say goodbye to your pet, our doctors will treat you and your pet with compassion throughout the procedure. Painless medications are administered, and your pet gently passes.

The compassionate doctors and staff at Bel Air Animal Hospital are here for the life of your furry family member, and they will be there at the end as well. Call one of our team members, and become a part of the Bel Air family today.
